Berks County’s Most Affluent Residential Enclave

Wyomissing Borough is an affluent suburban community located just outside the City of Reading, PA at the western end of the Penn Corridor.  This town of just over 10,000 people has an average household income of more than $115,000.

Wyomissing has an excellent housing stock that was originally built during Reading’s Gilded age by the wealthy industrialists who owned the factories along the railway.  The large mansions and estate homes and beautiful tree-lined boulevards make Wyomissing one of Berks County’s most desirable residential enclaves.

Employment Hub

Everyday the population within 1-mile of Wyomissing Square swells from 10,000 people to more than 30,500 people as it is located at the epicenter of Berks County’s largest employment hubs.  The Reading Hospital & Medical Center Accounts for almost 7,000 people per day and the strong suburban office market that has grown up in surrounding area since 1990s has become an employment hub of its own.

The resident demographics for the 100 Park apartment community suggest that future retailers at The Promenade may have “built-in” demand for its goods & services.  The 248-unit building is home to more than 280 residents who earn an average household income $92,000.  100 Park is extremely pet friendly, as 42 residents own a total of 54 dogs & cats. Pet store anyone?
